Blue Grass Community Action Partnership has been dedicated to empowering individuals and families by providing essential programs and services that enhance their quality of life. From meeting basic needs, like food and clothing, to offering resources that promote long-term self-sufficiency, we are here to help you build a brighter future.
Serving Anderson, Boyle, Franklin, Garrard, Jessamine, Lincoln, Mercer, Scott, and Woodford counties, many of our programs are available at little or no cost to the client. Our mission is to support you on your journey toward independence because we believe that everyone has something valuable to contribute to their community. Let us give you the tools and support to turn your goals into reality.
How We Can Help
Aging Services
Seniors are our specialty. Our services include nutritious meals, companionship, homecare assistance, social activities, employment and volunteer opportunities, and more.
Child Development
We are proud to offer high-quality early education options through Head Start. Additionally, we provide full-day childcare for children ages 2-12 in multiple Central Kentucky counties.
Family Support
Strengthening families is at the heart of what we do. From enhancing parenting skills and providing access to household necessities to connecting you with valuable family resources.
Transportation Services
We can get you there. BGCAP provides easy and affordable public and Medicaid-related transportation. We’re also pleased to provide regional and local routes in select Kentucky counties.
Asset Building
Asset building is key to self-sufficiency. That’s why we offer help that increases access to adult education, employment, financial management, home ownership and improvement.
Application Support
Our team includes specialists that can help you enroll in or apply for a variety of assistance programs, such as kynect, Medicaid, SNAP, LIHEAP and even childcare assistance programs.

Blue Grass Community Action Partnership is a charitable, non-profit organization, thus donations are tax deductible. We rely on monetary contributions from outside sources to help provide assistance to those in need.
